I unexpectedly have a little munchkin in my bed again! I made a call to check on the babysitter last night and put it out there, you know, I’ll take Rowan again if you’d like. The next thing I knew I was on my way to get her!
With a quick visit I also got myself my first giggle from KJ! His second ever. His first was for his dad on Monday, his birthday. Last night, I rolled his legs up and KJ gave me the cutest laugh! Of course, I spent 20-30 min trying to get another!
On the way home I couldn’t reach my friends to cancel my plans with them so I took Rowan by their house for a quick visit. Which included a popsickle.
By the time we got home it was bedtime and she had been passing out in the car seat BUT we discovered we didn’t have any pull ups in her bag! So we had to head back out to Walmart. Ended up being a late night!
Now, I take in my coffee while she sleeps a little longer. My life is good with her in it! The dogs are still sleepy too.
I’m not missing going out. In fact, I’m feeling more at peace than ever. I regret making plans to cruise because of the money involved but do need to do it because it was my idea… and my friends are joining to celebrate my birthday. Just a little over a month away!
I think I like the changes I’ve been making in my life, going out less and having Rowan more. And babysitting both when I can…
I’m going to start working on my book again soon, and take out some of the things that were upsetting. Easy enough. Then work on publishing. Not doing it yet, but getting ready. And think more about talking to my boss about the book. The next couple of weeks should provide some clarity as to where my job is going. And I may hold off on the book until it is gone. Unfortunately, I believe it may be.
Rowan’s asking for unicorn pancakes again this morning but… I think we may do Waffle House instead. Or Eat 33 I believe she enjoyed before.
