April 8, 2024 ~ Monday

I had an amazing day yesterday! Watched both my babies from 1pm until about 8pm! It was a day full of joy like no other. I played with, fed and watched KJ sleep all day! And Rowan and I had good quality time too, reading, watching shows, and working in her activity book. I scored big with that one.

Rowan and I also had a good morning before taking her home. We took the dogs for a walk… took a shower/bath… and ran the jeep through the new car wash on the corner. She loved that.

I came straight home and got ready for bed after babysitting, just floating. I really am feeling blessed.

I heard from G last night. He’s having a hard time after having to put his dog down a few days ago. 😢 it’s going to take a lot of time.

I also messaged with Amy. She’s doing good! I promised her I’d watch her church’s sermons for a month and needed to let her know that I’d have to watch the video of yesterday’s and why.

I woke up to Riley needing out at 4am and had trouble getting back to sleep. I finally did, but now slept late and am running behind so my post will be quick.

I feel really good. Rested.

Oh. I think I forgot to mention I heard from my uncle Cary for the first time in years on Saturday! It was wonderful. We shared how wonderful it is to be active in the lives of our grandbabies! 🥰 He’d heard from my brother that he and I are speaking and he’s happy about that too. And about the success of my new meds.

Also, Kalob and I had a conversation about my book a couple nights ago worth mentioning. He has a very valid concern… he wants to make sure that I capture the seriousness and complexity of it. 🥰 I love how much he cares and understands and supports it.

I need to get ready for work!
