I made it! My account is back in the positive. And I can get groceries today. And it’s Friday!
I spent a couple hours yesterday morning trying on clothes and making piles of them that I just absolutely can’t wear right now. It’s a lot. I need to lose another 15 pounds.
I worked a full day in 95 degree heat. Had a quick visit with my baby. Put my last $10 in my tank so I could make it home.
Had a 2nd interview on the phone with one of the companies I’ve applied with. It went well.
I napped after work until 7pm, painted a little, watched A Discovery of Witches last night. I like it because it has a nice love story building. Good and bad witches. Good and bad vampires. Good demons. It’s different in a lot of ways. I say that like I’ve watched a lot of similar shows recently but I haven’t. It’s been a long time.
We had a storm at bedtime last night. Poor Riley was all over me. I turned the light on for him thinking it’d be less scary. Big guy.
Scale still said 174. At least it didn’t go up.
Looking forward to resting this weekend. Spending time with my family tomorrow. Probably finishing my painting. Really, just a lot of sleeping. I realize my napping isn’t impacting my evening sleep. That’s important. I guess my body is needing naps because of the stress of my work situation, probably some due to the low carb dieting too. * maybe pickle ball this weekend if weather permits. Maybe I’ll go on the boat with my girlfriends Mon if they go. I’m skipping their trip tomorrow in favor of seeing my kids. I’ll get Riley to the park.

Maybe I’ll go see Meg. Dawn? Kathy?
I’m grateful for my family and friends. Riley. My health, even though the naps are long. My home. My coffee. I’m grateful I’m not feeling lonely right now. And I just made it through a pretty tough week without having to borrow money.
