So, things are going ok. I’m excited to get feedback on my resume, even though I know it may mean a lot of work. I’m excited to just have this feeling that my next job will have better pay, or at the very least, will give my Jeep a break from driving. I’m excited to see what unfolds in the future. Things can only get better.
I did not sleep that well, waking up at 4:30 thinking about last week. But it’s ok. Worse things can happen than not getting enough sleep, for sure.
Yesterday was a full work day, doctor appt, and visit with my kids. In my cover photo today you see a photo taken yesterday… Kalob Junior looks EXACTLY like his daddy did at this age!
We had a nice visit. I missed Gabby though, who was shopping.
I told Kalob about someone’s reaction to recent events. So negative.
I came home and read all evening, constantly checking my email for the resume feedback. I think maybe I asked too much of my friend but he’ll let me know. It’s ok if he doesn’t have time.
I hope my boss doesn’t come to the Richmond office today. I have to warn him again that he needs to not behave like he did and I’m really not looking forward to it.
He ignored an email from me yesterday detailing all of the work that I did last week. Every Monday I’m required to send him an email with my KPIs from the previous week.
Thinking about him makes me ill.
BUT, I’m going to go back to being excited for the next chapter of my life. I need more income anyway.
I’m also excited to know that I’ll get feedback from my brother on my book this weekend. We spoke briefly and he told me he’ll make the time. I can’t wait to get back to work on the book.
I’m grateful for my family and my friends. Riley, who let me take him for an extra long walk yesterday evening, my home which is bug-free, my freedom. My coffee this morning, which tastes really good. And my sobriety.
I need to get in the shower soon and get ready for a sales meeting. Dear Lord please let that jerk not show up today.
