Spreadsheets and work got to me last night. I was too tired to play pool so stayed home. Also, wanted to be fresh for this morning's visit with Gabby, Rowan and KJ. 🥰🥰
G wanted to come over and I said no to him too. Was just too tired. I played games on my phone and watched TikTok videos, turned in before 10.
I heard from my brother yesterday evening and had a nice talk. He's encouraging me to publish. Even if it helps only one person... I told him I needed to lighten it up, the book, a bit. He reminded me that sometimes it's the dark that helps. I told him about my concerns about hurting people. We agree much of out childhoods were just really sad, but everyone was young. Our parents, were young.
Oh! I'm pleased Riley walked around the block with me and Diesel yesterday, with a little resistance, and, I seem to have gained control of my diet again. Low carbs the past 3 days, 3 lbs down. Only 5 or so to go and I'll be feeling much better in my jeans. 👖
Ugh it's cold outside! But I can't wait to see the kids. It's been since Sat.
I'll take my laptop over and work there until a lunch and learn at noon, then back home for more spreadsheets.
